It's not how good you are, It's how good you want to be.

So, How Good Do You Want To Be?

*Note, this is a series of posts, it is recommended to read the last post first, if you didn’t read it.

All of us want to be good at our jobs, but how good do we really want to be?

  • Quite good.
  • Good.
  • Very good.
  • The best in our field.
  • The best in the world.
Talent helps, but it won’t take you as far as ambition. (That’s what i tried to say at the start of this post)
Everybody wants to be good, but not many are prepared to make that sacrifices it takes to be great.
To many people, being nice in order to be liked is more important. There’s equal merit in that, but you must not confuse being good with being liked.
Most people are looking for a solution, a way to become good.  There’s no instant solution, the only way to learn is through experience and mistakes.
You’ll become whoever you want to be.
Mistakes are your credit in life, are your privileges over others. Mistakes are the point where people take different paths, some people stay crying beside their mistakes and failure, and decide not to try again, not to fight again as not to fail again.

On the other side, the others take their mistakes as points of strengths, studying, analyzing and learning from their mistakes, one day, they’ll succeed and become GOOD and SUCCESSFUL.
Thomas Edison wake up one day, had his breakfast, decided to invent the electric light, and had his dinner in the same day on the light of first electric lamp in the world.
bullshit! Thomas Edison is really one of the great men who changed the shape of life. BUT, how many times Thomas Edison tried and failed? Oh! Sorry! I meant “How many times Thomas Edison tried and learned from his mistakes?”, Thomas had 1000 unsuccessful trials before inventing the electric lamp, and after each trial, he was simply say
Well, here we are! we just proved that this is also wrong way to invent what we all dream of.
Learn! Learn how to enjoy your failure! Know that, this is the human being nature, always remember that success always comes after many many unsuccessful trials.
Write! Write your mistakes and put them in-front of your eyes as not to forget them in the future.
Remember! Remember Thomas Edison after each trial! YOU’LL BECOME NEW THOMAS ONE DAY!
